All kids have dreams which transcend their immediate circumstances — some dream of being an astronaut, a fireman, a policeman (probably less so now), an athlete, etc. For me, working in media to produce movies or television has always been something I have thought about. I’m so excited for what is in store for Startup e-Xtreme! Even though we won’t be gathering in Voss this year, some of the same SX vibes will remain online… mostly because we are largely unsure about what the future holds.
Usually, we’re wondering what kind of weather we will get. Will it rain? Will it be sunny? Will it be windy? Will It snow!?!?

On March 17th, I will run slightly over 42.2km with a long-time friend of mine, Park, Joo Young — but growing up, I knew her as Robyn Schultz. I’ll explain. Starting (I believe) in the late 80’s in St. Louis Park, MN, I became classmates and ultimately friends with Robyn. Obviously, as I child I knew adoption was a thing but I didn’t really have a concept of what that meant.

As you may know, I recently left the company which jump-started my Estonian adventure (Funderbeam). Through my time at Funderbeam, I have met incredible investors and entrepreneurs from all around the world. I’ve even been privileged enough to speak, attend, and volunteer at incredible entrepreneurial ecosystem events throughout Europe and Asia.
This community I’ve been responsible for building at Funderbeam was directly responsible for bringing many interviews, opportunities, and referrals my way. I can’t thank them enough. …
